Aedgis is committed to a responsible investment approach.
We are convinced that considering the environmental and social impacts of the companies and projects we finance generates real value.
Our role is to finance the real economy while supporting businesses in implementing practical solutions to address decarbonization challenges and ensure their buildings comply with environmental standards.
Aedgis’ responsible investment strategy is built on the systematic integration of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria at every stage of the investment process, making sustainability an integral part of all our financing activities. The strategy is a combination of complementary approaches :
- A “best-in-progress” approach to support companies willing to improve.
- A policy of sectoral, regulatory and normative exclusions : we comply with laws, sanctions and embargoes; we exclude sectors contrary to our values and do not finance counterparties located in countries violating human rights.
- Raise awareness and support borrowers, investors, providers and partners to adopt an ESG mindset for the long term.

CSR approach
In line with ATLAND group consistency, our responsible-investor policy is accompanied by a group-level CSR approach.
This approach covers employee issues (well-being, training), environmental impacts (eco-management of buildings, eco-actions) and solidarity actions (charitable support, sponsorship).
A dedicated CSR Committee, including Aedgis staff, drives the programme; ATLAND runs annual awareness and training activities on CSR.
